Course Layout

Aim your tee shot at the left center of the fairway. A bunker creeps into the landing zone on the right. Anything left of the fairway has Spring Brook pond or out of bounds potential. The green is guarded by a front right bunker, an approach from the left center of the fairway will give you an ideal angle to the pin.

Leave your driver in the bag. A well placed tee shot is a must with a narrowing fairway that has bunker both left and right side. With only 10 feet of rough on either side accuracy is key on this tree lined hole. Your approach is better short than long, otherwise you face a slippery down hill putt.

A tee shot favoring the left side of fairway is ideal. Fairway bunker on the right as well as Spring Brook pond (for the longer hitters) will create extra work on this hole. An approach from the left side will give you an ideal look at the pin. Be aggressive, this is one of the more undulated greens. Avoiding a double breaking putt is key to scoring well on this hole.

Your 1st par 5 of the day is a dog leg right and the longest hole on the course. A left center tee shot will give the longer hitters a chance to go for it in two. However the green is protected with a front center bunker. This hole has trees and lateral hazards running the length. With one of the larger greens on course be sure to give yourself an angle to attack the pin.

Grab a short iron we are on our 1st par 3. The green features a ridge down the center , being on the side with the pin can save strokes quickly. The front is heavily guarded by a bunker on the left and Buzz’s Beach on the right. Flying your ball to the green is almost mandatory. Long is trouble as well as left or right.

Spring Brook’s signature hole is a dog leg right. Big hitters can be aggressive and cut the corner. Beware though a natural area hazard runs the length of the hole. A fairway wood or long iron played left center has room for forgiveness. A short iron in from here will leave you putting for birdie (and a complimentary beverage). Don’t feel bad about a two putt, this is the most undulated green on the course.

The shorter of the two par 5’s is a dog leg left with out of bounds and a bunker lurking on the right. A well sculpted tee shot left center may just leave you with a chance to get home in two. The green is mildly protected by the largest bunker on the course. Anything long or left on the approach is trouble.

Once again you find yourself surrounded by towering trees. Don’t be intimidated, this par 3 has a large putting surfacing that slopes from back to front. Be aggressive.

Your finishing hole features two bunkers and a picturesque view of the “19th” hole, Spring Brook Sports Bar & Grill.  A fairly wide fairway is an easy target. Out of bounds right and lateral hazard left runs the length of the hole. A well placed tee shot leaves you with a short in to set up birdie. Green slopes from back to front, attack the pin.
